Local folklore speaks of Prato Fiorito as a place where witches come, travelling up from the Devil’s Bridge. Our hike starts from San Cassiano di Controni where we will go up to the beautiful paths of Prato Fiorito through the Alta Via dei Pastori, used in the past by local shepherds to reach pastures, chestnut groves and woods located on the mountainside.
